Life Member.
A. The Following Categories Of Members
Will Be Eligible To Become Life Member Of The Institue:-
(a) Newly
Commissioned Officers Of Army, Navy and Air Force.
(b) Officers Of
Officers' Training Academy With Ten Years Of Service.
All those Eligible for Membership Under This Rule
Will Be Granted Membership Against Following Terms And
Conditions:-
(a) One Time Deposit
(Non-Refundable):- Rs 10,000/-
(b) Outsation
Membership (Subscription):- Nil For Life
(c) On Getting Posted
To (Delhi/NCR):- Membership Fee And Other Charges As Application To
Permanent Members.

The
President of the Republic of India is the Patron-in-Chief of the
Institute.
Patrons.
The
Defence Minister and the three Chiefs of Staff is the ex-officio
Patrons during their term in the office.
Honorary
Members.
The
Management Committee may, from time to time in very special cases,
invite distinguished person to consider themselves as the Honorary
Members of the Institute.
Permanent
Members.
All
serving officers of the Army, Air Force and Navy holding permanent
regular commission are eligible to become permanent members during
their active service and can continue to be a permanent member after
his retirement from service. All permanent members posted / residing
outside National Capital Region of Delhi may opt to become permanent
outstation members at half of subscription charges as applicable to
permanent In-station members.
Temporary
Member.
Serving Officers of
the Army, Air Force and Navy who are otherwise eligible to become a
permanent member but a member of the DSOWF, may become a Temporary
Member, when in Delhi for a period of less than a month, by paying
subscription as laid down from time to time.
